What
is computer consulting? Most computer technicians will offer tips and
provide some help at no cost, including myself. However, if a project
that involves research and professional decision making is requested
computer consulting costs may apply. Normally, computer consulting
is part of other services. However, if a business asks me to
recommend a computer system or group of systems and provides me with
specifications from, say, a software manufacturer, then charges for
research may apply.
Consulting fees may apply for a customer
who strictly wants advice or information and does not want any other
services. It is most likely that consulting service cost may arise in
such cases.
